Hello,
Here is a very small fly of 2mm found in a compoptseur of the north west of France (Normandy).
The Coelopidae family has been suggested, and that seems a solid lead.
Can we, with these pics, go beyond the family?
Thank you!
Paul

Could we say Ischiolepta (vaporariorum-pusilla) ?

Most likely, but you will need to clear the abdomen and check the genitalia to get the exact species

Thanks for your confirmation.
It's already complicated for me to pin such a small bug, I am totally unable to do this.

It's already very good to be able to say Ischiolepta (vaporariorum-pusilla) with a fairly good degree of probability.

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
