Hello, yesterday a 7-8 mm hoverfly male rested on a leaf in our abandoned backyard (northwest Germany). At first sight I thought of a Eupeodes latifasciatus, but that does not seem to fit well. What else could ibt be? An Epistrophe? Or a Parasyrphus?
