My opinion: yes, male Alliopsis silvestris is correct. But I want to admit, that I have no experience with genus Alliposis...
Greetings, Eric

Some species of Alliopsis have male and female heads similar, with narrow or broad frons. Females of species near Alliopsis sylvestris have fore tarsomeres 2-3 or 2-5 expanded.

Thanks a lot, John, for those details. Is it only the females that have expanded tarsomeres? (That is the case here.)

This is a female close to Alliopsis silvestris. I do not know the French species.

Expanded female fore tarsomeres appear here and there in the calyptrate flies. Alliopsis and Eutrichota and more in the Anthomyiidae. Many Tachinini. Expanded male fore tarsomeres are rare if they occur at all.
