I much enjoyed Nikita's article on behaviour in Medetera jacula. I have spent some time watching (and being amused by) Medetera truncorum myself. For others interested in behaviour, past issues of the Dipterists Digest (see weblinks, Publications) have occasional articles and notes on behaviour in Diptera, although the main content is taxonomy and recording. The contents pages of Dipterists Digest are searchable online and available past copies are quite cheap. Some interesting observations on behaviour are also in the Dipterists Bulletin, which is the newsletter for members of the UK based Dipterists Forum (see weblinks, Societies).
