Hello, this Tachinidae was photographed in the Roussillon plain (Pyrénées-Orientales, France), altitude 60m in October.
It has 2 postsutural ia setae. It seems that there is no light hair on the ventral side of syntergite 1+2.
The mostly orange postpedicel about as long as it is wide, the entirely orange legs (except the darker apex of the tarsi) and the orange areas on the thorax make us suggest Tachina casta.
What do you think please?
