I found what I think is a shield bug in my garden in the Scottish Highlands during august. Could someone identify for me please. It was on aster plants.

It's a Pentatomidae nymph. Could be Holcostethus, but that is just a guess.

Thanks for confirming Pentatomidae nymph. I wish I knew which one for definite. This is a species I have not seen before.
