Dear Asilidae experts, this beatiful Asilidae male was found freshly emerged, hanging and spreading the wings on a plant in Tbilisi surroundings. After a few hours it gained it's coloration, but undortunately I was not able to determine it even till the genus, still it reminds me of Stenopogon (black legs + black hypopigium = Stenopogon sciron?). Any help is much appreciated Here's a link to a high resolution pic upload pic online Edited by Armen Seropian on 07-06-2020 09:16 |
