Found at Finca Las Piedras, near town of Monterrey in Madre de Dios region in southeastern Peru on 4.IX.2019. Very large asilid. Female Pilica?

Great shots of the lovely Pilica cf. minos - females. Other names exist for this widespread S. Amer. sp. (cyaniventris, olbus) but are believed synonymous with minos. |
