Hi there, On the 23rd of september I followed this wasp for more than half an hour as it was searching and hunting through my garden. I finally caught him attacking and capturing a small catterpillar. Is this ancistrocerus sp? (it was a little smaller than the ancistrocerus species I normally find in my garden, but I'm not sure if there are any variations in size) Cheers! ![]()

Not parasitoid but aculeate: Symmorphus or Ancistrocerus?
