I don't know even the family - but my guess is an Sphecidae wasp.

It was in a leaf of a public garden, in Taipei (North Taiwan). It sizes 9-10 mm without antennae.

its a sphecid wasp of the family Crabronidae, tribe Larrini, but I don't now the genus. Anyhing like Liris, Tachysphex or related.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
