I tried to determine the species.

With the Van Veen, I find Cheilosia pubera.

What do you think?

Paul is not right. This is a male in the genus Melanogaster, so you should look in van Veen for that genus....

Well, I'll look at of this the side ...

I come back with a proposal!

I am disappointed in the size of the insect,
it measures 6mm and not 11mm as described above.
