Hi,
Yesterday I met this mayfly male with its impressive turbinate eyes and two long cerci. I thought of Cloeon, as I cannot see any hindwings; the wing venation, however, seems to fit Baetis better. There are still more genera that I do not know, so help is very appreciated!
Regards, Sundew

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
