I was wondering if this fly is Bibio Hortulanus?
maiby someone can confirm this?

Very nice!

This is not B. hortulanus, but the female of B. anglicus, a rare early spring species, mostly confined in NL to the region with the larger rivers. As is this locality....

Interesting comment about B.anglicus, which I have always thought was quite common - but the 2 sites that I catch it regularly are within 1km of the river Thames Smile

It may be common in England but not in the Netherlands. In 2005 the species was first reported from Germany by Jens-Hermann Stucke and me.
