 Red spotted beetle, but what are on its body?

Location: Hungary Habitat: Vineyard Size: 7-10 mm Date: 08-04-07 Firstly I overlooked this two strange creature on the back and on the side of this beetle. I think the beetle is a Hister sp. ( I need confirmation or disproval) eguzki attached the following image:  [103.47Kb] |

The beetle is Hister or Paralister - there are several species with red spots - more photos would be helpful. The Acari are Poecilochirus sp. (Poecilochiridae , 2 sp. on beetles): http://www.fotoco...ay/2673154 Best regards Frank |
