Hi,

Please can anyone help to id this spider?
I found it a few days ago,sat on a tree trunk in a mixed tree plantation on the sussex downs.From memory about 5mm ish.

I thought in Gibbaranea sp. with those 2 tubercles... But not sure.

Here in Germany this would be Gibbaranea gibbosa. Genus Gibbaranea it is definitely.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
