Liphistiidae spider, indeed!!!
genus... I don?t know. I never seen a Liphistiidae like that one!

They are very ancient spiders with primitive features - segmented abdomen.

The family contains only five genera and individuals of two genera native in China: Heptathela and Songthela but the latter is recently separated.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
