Hello, Josef! B. clavipes is an autumn species. Experts will hopefully tell, what species this fly is... Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |

Hi, Josef! Josef Buecker wrote: So it might be Bibio lanigerus? B. lanigerus is frequent here these days, but I mostly see the females with their strikingly red legs. On this picture in the gallery also the male has partially red legs: http://www.dipter...oto_id=866. As I wrote: better wait for the experts... Tibiae are very dark and veins rather prominent. Might be reticulatus. Need to check the collection. Theo |
