I agree it is not pomonae and looks like johannis. It is rather late in the year, though, for johannis. Females tend to be later than males, so it still might be OK. Theo |

Yes, that might very well be an additional part of the explanation. Johannis is very common in most localities, so have a close look at the period of flight next spring, I'd suggest Theo |
