Another one from this afternoon...casually blowing a bubble in a 50mph gale...gives not a jot
Bet it won't be doing it tomorrow..80mph forecast.
Any idea who this soon to be shredded fly is/was.

Size....used to be 3mm ish.

Male Anthomyiidae. Perhaps a Lasiomma sp.

I found 6 or 7 different flies all blowing bubbles. Maybe having a clean-up before getting shredded by the wind forecast for tomorrow...premonition or something.
