Looking through the Sarc gallery I found resemblance to Macronycha. Is this correct and / or could it be ID'd further?
Quite a restless fly this was. Moved around a lot and gave me a hard time to get any photos Smile

Size: ~8mm

Macronychia is correct. With these pictures I cannot identify to species level. It is a difficult genus with some species undescribed and some taxonomic problems.
