Dear Forum,

I took this picture in my garden this morning. It was warming up on the bark of a tree. Length ~12 mm. Can it be further identified?

Should be a male of Bibio marci like mine Smile(http://www.dipter...d_id=12321).

Perhaps because these flies are so typical and common in spring that everybody should know them without asking? Grin
