9. July 2025 in our garden in Rheinbach near Bonn/Germany, 210m above sea level, huge forest close by. about 5mm, stretched out it might be 7mm. Only one suitable photo. ID possible? Thank you for your help, Jörg

Thank you Eric! Since I was very curious and many of my posts here have not been answered lately, I also posted it on Facebook diptera. David Clements also assumed T. atra! Could you please be so kind to have a look at https://diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=115724 where I suspect a Physocephala vittata - I would care for your opinion on this fly as well! |
