I tought it was a Paragus but it was bigger. 8th June 2025. La Cleta, Pyrenees mountains, north-east Spain. Alpine pastures. Went to swat in a t-shirt. Confirmation or not? Thanks! ![]() |

Hi, Hard to see but I think you are right on the genus Pipizella. ID to species is only possible based on male genitalia. Best, Jonne |

Thanks! Fortunately specimen was collected, but with wide separated eyes I guess it's a female... |
