I saw this Syphidae twice in different parks in Tokyo, 2023 and 2024. This is Baccha sp i believe. Is more possible? Thank you for trying, Jörg

I was told Baccha sp. by a Japanese museum's curator, who - however - is a lepidopterologist. |

On Facebook Hoverflies of the World it was named Allobaccha cf. apicalis with the remark, that the genus needs a revison. |
