Hello Forum,

what ist that animal in the picture?

First, it looks like a member of Isopoda to me. But also, it might belong to the Coleoptera, since there are some larvae looking quite similar e.g. from the Silphidae.

Whon can help?

I took that photo on may 17th 2007 in the artificial alder marshland in Hagen, 175 m above sea level.The plant in the background is Urtica dioica. The leaf was inserted around 10 to 20 cm above the soil surface.
