Hello, I photographed this fly in Balaclava, Mauritius, on April 21st 2024. In this case don't know which family it may belong to. This is the genus Discomyza. I believe the only species recorded from Mauritius is Discomyza similis, but that species has black antennae. Your fly looks much more like D. maculipennis, but I suggest that it would be best to check a male specimen to eliminate the possibility of an undescribed species.
