Hello everybody,
I found pictures of a beautiful horsefly on ecosdelbosque.com, and would very much like to know what it is. Unfortunately on that page it named Palpada mexicana.
The link is:
https://ecosdelbo...a-mexicana

Does anyone have an idea what genus or species it is?
Greetings from Austria,
Günter

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
