Dear forum,

I took the first picture of this moth - identified on "Waarnemingen.nl as Eudonia mercurella - in my living room on January 19th, the second picture on January 20. The position of the antennae changed from slightly curved to something resembling a corkscrew. I saw this moth today again and the antennae were slightly curved again, like in the first picture.
Could someone explain this?

Best regards, Niek

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
