Hello,
On flowering Solidago canadensis (Asteraceae) one meets a surprisingly big diversity of insects. Among the hymenopteres I photographed these two wasps I would dare to identify as Ancistrocerus nigricornis, male and female. Would you agree?
The locality is the Baltic Island of Usedom in August.
Regards, Sundew

This is the female.

Any Ancistrocerus species. I cannot recognize it on species level.
