The hairy face seems to point toward Heringia, but I'm not quite sure.
What do you think about it?
Do youhave ideas to get further?
Thanks in advance.

My suggestion would be Pipizella viduata. However, without image of the pattern of wing veins at the tip of the wing I do not know how to tell for sure. https://www.flickr.com/photos/63075200@N07/7924844092/in/album-72157631392427350/

Thanks a lot.
I don't have pictures of the wings.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
