Habitat: Outskirts of park (on park bench)
Size: ~5 mm

Looks like a wingless moth. Bad weather and bad photo. It was very dark and it was raining ...

Ahh, I see, thanks cthirion! I guess not all Geometridae females look like this, but a few species or ...!? Can't be that many to choose from this time of year. I should have taken more photos, but I didn't want to risk ruin the camera. If the weather is a little better it is fascinating to go out in the dark with a headlamp (head torch) to look for bugs.

I think this might be Winter Moth (Operophtera brumata).
