First Announcement: 5th International Symposium on Syrphidae
This is the first announcement on the 5th International Symposium on Syrphidae.

The 5th International Symposium on Syrphidae will be held in Serbia, near Novi Sad (the capital city of Province Vojvodina), in the National Park Fru?ka gora (http://www.npfruskagora.co.yu/english/turizam/kako-stici.htm), from the 18th to the 21st of June 2009.

All presentations will be in the Center for Economical and Technological Development of Province Vojvodina, Andrevlje on the mountain Fru?ka gora, as well as accommodation (single room/full board 50 Euro, double room/full board 45 Euro).

One day excursion trip is planned for Monday 22nd of June. It still is uncertain where it will be, but probably we will visit the Deliblato Sands Special Natural Reserve.

The registration fee for the symposium will be 70 Euro. This price includes registration and transport from the Belgrade airport to the Center for Economical and Technological Development of Province Vojvodina, Andrevlje. Participation of the excursion trip on Monday 22nd will cost a extra money.

The second announcement including registration and planned program will follow in January 2009.

We are looking forward to meet many syrphidologist in Serbia in 2009!
