Is that a Sarcophagidae and can it be determined from the photos?
Location: Germany, North Rhine-Westphalia, garden in Krefeld-Uerdingen, size approx. 8 mm

“Not one” Sarcophagidae has eyes nearly touching on frons, and many Calliphoridae (and Muscidae) do.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
