how do mosquito?s buzz

does anyone know how mosquitos produce that sound? I?ve seen many photos of them but never distinguished any special structure different from non-buzzing ones.
I supose it won?t be a way to call the female /male because in tabanidae males die soon after mating and females keep buzzing
?
