Nemorilla is fine, but looks more like female N. floralis to me. Females of both species are very similar. Theo |

Thanks Theo. I considered this to be N. maculosa because the pedicel is partially yellowish. Fortunately I also collected a male in the same spot, which I just photographed (see photos below). The postocellar setae are not hook-like, so it should be N. maculosa. Do you agree?

Interestingly the male's palpi are black while the female's are yellow. But I read that it is variable. |
