Hi!
I was absent here for a long time, but now I have a question again. Please for a determination. Is this Nemorilla floralis (Tachinidae)?

Hi Guntram, I think, it's a Winthemia likely a male W. quadripustulata.

I think you're right. The red spot at the end of the abdomen should suit this species.

Please always mention locality and date. If it is frome Chile,,it is not Winthemia....
