Hello, On October 17, 2019 in the south of France. This small fly, 2 mm long, got caught in the web of a spider Araneus diadematus. Its legs are very long but half of them are stuck in the wires. Is it possible to determine a gender? Liliane D attached the following image: ![]() [193.68Kb] Edited by Liliane D on 21-11-2019 13:41 |

Female in supertribe Cecidomyiidi. They often perch safely on spider webs but this one appears stuck. |
