Could this be a Didea fasciata larva? It was found in my garden today on a Weeping Sallow leaf where an adult male fasciata had been seen 11 days earlier. The larva is approximately 13mm long. The garden is in Norfolk, England.

Thanks

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
