This female Chrysopilus was peviously considered it could be another species, as there is a different wing pattern of other Chrysopilus pullus I found and similar to Ch. nubecula.

Now I got SZILADY, Z. 1934. Die palaearktischen Rhagioniden. Ann. Mus. Nat. Hung., 28: 229-270, and frow the key it becomes more clear is Ch. pullus (as the wing apex is always darkened). (In C.nubecula the stigma is much more dark and occupying the space between the two veins)

Here is the wing pattern of other C. pullus found also indoors in the same locality:

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
