 Syrphidae: Cheilosia pagana

This male Cheilosia I found in spring in Central Germany (grass land with old apple trees). The eyes are bare, antennae are not orange and the face shows a rounded profile. Cloud this be Cheilosia scutellata? location: Central Germany, N-Hesse: vic. Kassel (Dönche), ca. 180m asl., 06.05.2015 Thank you very much for your time! I think it is more like C. pagana. |
