Hello,
here are two pictures of a Melangyna hoverflie (at least I think so).
Place: Germany, Lower Saxony, Lüneburg, garden, on Crocus sp., 10.03.2017.
Can it be identified from the photos?

Spots are too triangular fo early Meangyna spp. It is Meliscaeva auricollis.
