Hi,
I photographed this fly in Veldhoven, the south of the Netherlands, near a small river.
I have searched other websites to determine this fly, but did not succeed.
This time i have no idea, not even a starting point. Hoverfly species ?

Hope somebody can tell me which fly species this really is.
More help from this great site is appreciated.

Thank you very much,
Richard
