HI,

i think Stratiomidae family.
and that smalls are pseudoscorpions. very interesting never something similar. how big was the fly or the pseudoscorpion?

wow!!! amazing!! I saw many mites attached to a fly, but never so many pseudoscorpions!! This is a phoretic phenomenon.

I think in Ulidiidae for the fly. Wink

I forgot to mention the size (sorry : beginning in this forum) : about 5-6 mm for the big one and smaller for those pseudoscorpions.

If I understand, those pseudoscorpions are only using this fly as transport and not eating it ? If yes, I don't know if it is a good idea given there were to many pseudoscorpions and I'm afraid this poor insect was not able to fly any more... Shock

The pseudoscorpions could belong to the Cheliferidae or Chernetidae family.

Jorge, I'm not sure : I found on the web that they belong to the Arachnida - Pseudoscorpionida - Garypidae.
It seems to be a Garypus and I will call it Garypus sp. given they are many kinds of Garypus Sad
Is there someone to confirm ?
