This one flew also in Switzerland (Tessin) near Malvaglia, at an altitude of approx 1400 m (end of July). Rather small species, say 10 - 12 mm, far less robust then Machimus. Quite common on paths in rather open terrain as well as inside the forest. Can it de IDed on the basis of this photograph (I have some additional ones if necessary)?
