Hello

Today I found this big robberfly (20-22mm) in a wood with sandarea (Germany/NRW/Wesel). A lot of pines, oaks, gras,- and heathland alternate.
I think this species has a look of Pamponerus germanicus - but I'm not quite sure.

just to answer this thread: As I told you already, yes this is a female Pamponerus, nice picture.
