Hi,
Please, help with the ID for this Asilidae sp.
Specimen data: June 5, 2021 Russia, Moscow Region.
Dry pine forest on sand dunes.
Body length: 19mm. Wingspan: 29mm.

Reminds me strongly of a Pamponerus sp. Can't see if the base of the wings is milky white.

The base of the wings is milky white indeed. Are there many species of Pamponerus in Central Europe? Is it possible to identify it to the species level?
