Hi again,

who knows which genus / species this parasitised fly belongs to?

Thanks in advance!

Greetings,

Lennart

Hello Lennart,

My best guess is Platycheirus clypeatus complex. Dust spots on frons seem to be triangular and tergite six seems to be largely black. P. europaeus?

Greetings,

Ectemnius

Hi Ectemnius,
uh, that seems to be a heavy genus...hadn't heard about it at all.
Thank you for your help!
Greetings,
Lennart
