This species was present in large numbers feeding on these yellow flowers. This was in a fresh water wetland only about 0.5 km from the Pacific Ocean.

I like the pattern made by the of veins, but wasn't able to use that to make an ID. Help appreciated!

Oregon USA, 13 May 2007. About 8 mm from the front of the eyes to the rear of the wings.
