This Tabanidae was flying at the window where it was collected

Locality: Iberian peninsula: Catalonia: Girona province: Beuda: 31T DG77: 395 masl
Date: 28/06/2014
Habitat: Inside house in an stone oak wood + crops environment
Sex: Female
Size: 17.5 mm

It has three bands on eyes when hydrated
The problem is that using Fauna Iberica keys (Portillo-Rubio, 2002), the frontal index should be 1:6, and my measurements are about 1:4* (measured again in 2016, the frontal index is 102/19=5.4)

Thanks in advance,

Rafael

PD. A month later another Tabanus was seen on similar conditions:

I think no other similar Tabanus with three eyebands lives in Europe, so for me your ID is correct.
