This is at least Streblidae as Nycteribiidae are always apterous.

Yes, it is definitely a Streblid but can this specimen be identified by its genus if possible..?

Hi all, this looks like a Megastrebla sp.. I cannot tell you the species from this photo, I would need the specimen. It also would be good to know from which bat this was collected. Best, Katharina

Sir Paul, it was collected from Rousettus amplexicaudatus, Cynopterus brachyotis and Ptenochirus jagori bat species here in the Philippines.. Is it not an Ascodipteron sp.?
